Alli and Richard are getting married at the very beautiful Sandburn Hall near York this weekend and I met up with them recently just around the corner from where they live at Roundhay Park in Leeds for their pre-wedding shoot.

I have really loved getting to know Becky and Darcy and it was such a pleasure to be able share with them their special day at the fabulous Conistone hotel, located between Skipton and Settle and set against the beautiful backdrop of the Yorkshire Dales (those views from the hotel terrace are something else!).

A beautiful summer wedding, starting in the centre of York with the ceremony in the shadow of the Minster at St Michael Le Belfrey church and then moving out of town to one of my favourite wedding venues, Sandburn Hall, for the reception.

I always seem to get lucky with the weather when it comes to my early pre-wedding dawn shoots in York. This is my fourth shoot with a couple around the historic streets of York at ridiculous o'clock and every time I have been blessed with the perfect weather conditions, making the early starts seem worth it!
