Claire & Andrew's wedding day | Crow Hill wedding photography

We can’t say thank you enough to Rob for our fantastic wedding photographs! He captured the day perfectly from start to finish! Rob is such a lovely guy to be around and makes you feel totally relaxed, especially during the manic morning bridal preparations! All the photos are beautiful and the only inconvenience is that I’m struggling to pick my favourite to mount on the wall!!... will 450 framed photos be too much to hang over the mantle piece...? I would definitely recommend Rob to any future bride and groom to be!

I'm not likely to forget Claire and Andrew's wedding any time soon...Not only was it a gorgeous wedding with a fab couple and stunning venue, it was also the day that my wife went into labour with our first child!

The day started at Claire's parents house in Halifax with the bridal preparations before moving onto St Thomas' church. The church was packed full and there was even a crowd who had gathered outside to wish the couple well in their new married life. It was then onto a vintage bus for the wedding reception at Crow Hill, a quintessential English country house set within acres of gardens and grounds and lying in a beautiful, secluded location near to the former mill village of Marsden, Huddersfield.

The marquee was beautifully decorated and there was some really lovely touches on the theme of travel (which I wish I'd thought of when I got married!). The weather decided to be kind to us and the sun came out later in the day giving us the opportunity to get some shots against the stunning backdrop of Marsden Moor (where we had climbed to the top for their pre-wedding shoot a few weeks before).

It was then onto the evening reception and after a really lovely moment with Claire and her dad sharing a dance, Andrew stepped forward to take his new wife into his arms for their first dance. The dance floor quickly filled up and the party got into full swing. As I left, I knew that the party wasn't going to end any time soon, but I had to get back home and see my wife who had called me earlier in the day to say she had started having contractions....And just in case you were wondering, our little boy was born the following morning at 5.36am!
