Claire & Andrew pre-wedding shoot | Marsden moor

I met up with these two crazy kids at Crow Hill in Marsden (near Huddersfield) for their pre-wedding shoot ahead of their wedding there in June. It was a good opportunity to have a look around the grounds and scout out a few locations for shots on the big day, however for the shoot itself we decided to head up to the moor at the back of the house. I only intended to take them part way up as it was a steep climb to the top, but there was no stopping Andrew as he marched up the hill determined to the get to the rocks at the top (He later announced that he had recently done the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge in just over 8 hours, which is very impressive and something which I can only dream of doing when I attempt the 3 peaks myself in a couple of weeks!). Anyway, it was certainly worth the effort as we were rewarded with fab views from the top and Andrew had chance to try out his best 'looking into the distance' modelling pose and Claire could work on her 'shampoo ad hair flick' move, courtesy of a brisk wind!   I knew that I would have fun working with these guys after I met them at the Rudding Park wedding fair, and I was not wrong. A great couple who are up for a laugh and a lark about and having now seen the stunning venue where they are having their wedding reception, I am even more excited now about shooting their big day in June!
