A fab end to 2018 with a New Year’s Eve wedding to remember! The day started at Hester’s parent house in Halifax before the marriage ceremony at St Thomas’ church in Greetland. I got a nervous text from Jonny a few days before their wedding day as England were leading Croatia in the World Cup semi-finals asking if I had a TV screen I could bring with me to show the final if England were to get through, a match which would be played at the same time they were due to be married - not something they had been able to predict two years ago when they booked the date!
I have really loved getting to know Becky and Darcy and it was such a pleasure to be able share with them their special day at the fabulous Conistone hotel, located between Skipton and Settle and set against the beautiful backdrop of the Yorkshire Dales (those views from the hotel terrace are something else!).
